Grant Winner Expands Business in a Big Way

With more than a decade of marketing experience, Katelyn Ice began Ice Design Studio in 2018 with a dream to grow the business by hiring employees and expanding her client network.

After becoming a member at The Pantheon, Katelyn started meeting with Julie Folz, an ISBDC business advisor who offers free office hours for entrepreneurs at The Pantheon. Julie notified Katelyn of a grant opportunity that would allow her to hire employees and purchase necessary equipment and software. After receiving the award, Katelyn welcomed two part-time remote employees who work alongside clients to produce social media content, design digital and print marketing materials, and assist in pitching projects and ideas to new clients.
